AGIOS NIKOLAOS

AGIOS NIKOLAOS
Agios Nicolaos (St. Nicholas) beach at Vassilikos area at a distance of about 30 km from Zakynthos town. Several narrow paths take you to smaller beaches in the same area.

From Saint Nicolas there is a ferry connection with the nearby island of Cephalonia, where Captain Corelli's Mandolin was filmed. The ferry service is every morning and evening throughout the summer months. There are also trips available in small boats to the famous "Blue Caves" of Volimes and the Shipwreck.
