TSILIVI
The village of Planos (and the Tsilivi beach) is a magnificent seaside resort, only 5 km from the historical town of Zakynthos. The picturesque area and the lovely climate, with the characteristic cool air from the Tsilivi bay, are the reasons for which many tourists visit it every summer.

The beach of Tsilivi is long, safe, with fine sand and crystal clear shallow waters. Here your can find plenty of tourist amenities and a wide range of water activities (tennis, water-ski, windsurfing, boat trips, fishing...) The north sea streams keep the waters of the bay always clear. Due to this Tsilivi beach is awarded with the Blue Flag of Europe from the EC. This lovely beach is backed with olive-tree planted hills and a vast plain of vineyards. In the area you can find restaurants with traditional and international cuisine, hotels, apartment hotels and pensions (there are 1500 beds in hotels and 3.500 beds in pensions and self-catering apartments). In the sea area north of the beach, the islet of Voidi, once connected with the mainland, is one of the many choices of seaside walks.

At the north point of the beach there’s a Venetian vardiola (an old observatory) that worths a visit.
