What a wonderful place for peace and tranquility and to experience the rural greek idyll.Owned by Mr John Dragonas and run by friends of his who are most helful.we have just experienced one of the most peaceful holidays ever.Just go there for the reassurance that lovely people and places do still exist in this world.Facilities at the apartment are clean and ample as a place to get away from the rat race to a much quieter and saner way of life.Thank you all for a wonderful holiday and God willing we will see you again soon.

I am looking at this wonderful photo of an old Zaknthian Villa in Kallipados, a historic Villiage mostly owed by the DRAGONAS family. I believe this is my grandparents house that suffered major damage in the earthquakes of 1953. We petitioned the governmentnot to tear this home down, There it stands answering to its ancient heritage of generations of land holders in the current paradise of Greece, the Zakynthian Campos or Valley. From here the delicate dried fruit found its way to the fine tables of the world. The Zante current continues to be "the currency" of this most beautiful piece of God's creation. Zante was the gateway to Greece during the 450 years of Ottoman occupation of mainland Greece. That is why Lord Byron started his Greek Odyssey in Zakynthos alive, and following his death, his body was returned to the England's Governor in Zaknthos, for embalming and shipping of his remains to Mother England.
